Our Parents and Students Say It Best
"Alan and his team are not only professional and beyond helpful, they are responsive, communicative on every level, and just plain nice!"
– S., parent of two students
"Alan really takes the time to build relationships with students. He is an encyclopedia of knowledge on all aspects of the college process and will use his personal contacts to put your child in touch with students at schools across the country."
– Connie, parent of two students
"Your ability to teach and register with young people leaves me very impressed. To take a boy whose teachers were asking to drop back down to 8th-grade Math and engineer such a turnaround is a testament to your skills and patience. I cannot speak highly enough."
– Brendan, parent
"Alan was instrumental in helping my kids, both of whom have different learning disabilities. He has the best tutors, and the Regents Review classes are amazing. My kids really shined on the ACTs with Alan’s help. But the most valuable thing about working with Alan is developing a relationship where he knows our family, our kids, and their learning needs."
– Connie, parent of two students
"I’m always happy referring students in middle school and beyond to Sheptin Tutoring. Alan is an exceptionally caring, dedicated, and skilled tutor and college advisor, and his team is also fantastic. We’re lucky to have them as a resource in our community!"
– Laura Rice, Director/Reading Specialist, Learning Resource Center
